In one week I leave for Camp Squanto in Swanzey, NH where I will work on Staff for my 2nd summer! Squanto is a Christian camp run by the Evangelical Covenant Church, the denomination that I grew up in from 6th grade-present. I actually attended Camp Squanto as a camper back in 2004 for Jr. High Week! Now, 8 years later I get to spend my entire summer at camp, hanging out with my fellow staff members, and playing around with a bunch of crazy kids all day! Check out some of my favorite camp moments caught on camera from last summer!
Our Pathfinder’s group (entering 2nd or 3rd grade) with Miss Mikayla during Ugly Counselor. An activity in which the campers have 20 minutes to make their counselor as ugly as possible using anything they have: shaving cream, toothpaste, bandaids, dirt etc.

I lost a bet during our favorite Staff game named Cee-loh and got a huge can of disgusting baked beans poured over my head by Uncle Sloth in front of the entire camp!
Staff members dressed up as characters from the movie “Up” for the weekly “Who’s Cows” skit which is supposed to get kids to pick up trash on the last morning of camp!

While I slept during rest hour (1-2pm everyday after lunch) the girls turned my cabin into a fortress! This was my favorite group of girls, they were absolutely hilarious!
